DOVE brings together a team with a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and understanding passionate about empowering women in an ever-changing world. Through our work, we want to inspire future generations of young women to make their voices heard and become their own advocates.

Blair Pentecost
Blair founded Daughters of Volunteer Events due to the rising need for consultative opportunities to "up and coming" nonprofits who focus on women's needs. She noticed that she could be a value to these organizations due to her previous experiences. She is privileged to offer her services and donate her time to continue to increase the support of women's needs around the US.
Previously on committees of such organizations like, The Houston Livestock and Rodeo, The Women's Home Houston, Dress for Success, Agape, Aedan's Foundation, and more Blair has consulted 100+ non-profit organizations and chaired many events. In her professional career, she has held Vice President titles, Partner and been successful in various sales roles at large and small notable companies globally.

Brittany Timmerman
Spending time volunteering and donating event experience, has shown Brittany the need nonprofit groups have in fundraising. With a passion for creating meaningful connections between philanthropic organizations and their donors, Brittany Timmerman Events is happy to partner with Daughters of Volunteer Events to help organizations increase support and awareness of their work.
Brittany has put on over 1,200 events with fundraising components and worked 10 years for nonprofit organizations previously in her professional career.

Jean Fang
Working with nonprofits previously through corporate philanthropy, Jean is excited to work with a wide range of organizations striving to find solutions to some of the world’s most challenging issues. As a millennial herself, she understands that the next generation gives differently and nonprofits need to adjust accordingly. She is excited to use her experience to spotlight worthy causes.

With 10 years of marketing and branding experience for corporate and nonprofit organizations, Jean helps companies to establish and communicate their message, develop and execute creative concepts, and overall find their voice.

Rachel Reida
Rachel previously worked at the American Red Cross, while working in the emergency services department she gained extensive knowledge in planning events and organizing operations as well as working alongside and managing a predominately volunteer-based workforce. Rachel’s passion for nonprofits and drive to carry out the mission solidified her aspiration to join Daughters of Volunteer Events.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Bret Wedding
Gregory "Bret" Wedding is an accomplished C- Level Executive with multiple industries around the world. His extensive experience includes executive positions in the fields of Industrial Products, Real Estate, Banking, Finance, Government Contracting, Consulting and Technology. Additionally, he has been a Servant-Leader as a Commander and Director of Operations with Joint Special Operations, United States Army and Air Force.
Mr. Wedding has an extensive record of service to professional organizations and non-profits and currently sits as the Chairman of the Board for two Non-profit organizations (Aedan’s Foundation and Daughters Of Volunteer Events (DOVE)), multiple committee boards (Life School’s Project Patriot and United Ways Tarrant County’s Strategic Development Plan) and serves as a member of the American Legion, National Rifle Association, Disabled American Veterans, Delta Upsilon Fraternity Alumni Association, Transportation Corps Regimental Association and National Defense Transportation Association.

Charles Pullman
Charles Pulliam is the Chief Development Officer (CDO) for Life School of Dallas. In his position, Charles provides the visionary leadership and management of the district Mission Advancement (fund development and expansion strategies). Previously he provide leadership for the organization’s Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS) & Strategies, which include human resources, training & professional development, performance measurement, pay-for-performance, remuneration strategies, community involvement, and fund development efforts. In addition, he serves Life School by leading staff efforts to maintain vocational excellence while adhering to the established Life School mission, vision, and quality standards. He is also responsible for leading effective change management strategies.

Shannon Scott
Shannon R. Scott is the Chief Executive Officer for Phalanx International (USA), Inc. She began her career in Human Resources management, eventually taking on roles in international HR and Operations at both start-up and multi-million dollar corporations. She started her international career with Blockbuster, the world’s largest retail video chain and a former Fortune 500 company. She worked in International Human Resources, overseeing global locations spanning 26 countries. She rose to her first executive position with SeeItWork.com, a start-up company which was the first to offer on-line live video steaming for customer retail websites.

Miss Scott is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Phalanx International (USA), Inc., which focuses on post-wireless sales and services. In addition, she is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Touchstone Eco, LLC, a complete supply chain solution for excess cell phone parts. Touchstone Eco also holds the coveted R2 certification for Responsible Recycling.
Outside of corporate life, Miss Scott has devoted her time to various charitable organizations and causes including the Dallas Museum of Art, Lifewalk, Red Cross, Annette G. Strauss Family Gateway Center, Limbs for Life, and New Beginning Center for Women. Miss Scott is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a former President, Past President, and Social Chair of the Dallas OSU Alumni Association. In addition to serving on the PHG-USA board of directors, she has also held positions on numerous business and charitable boards. She holds multiple certifications the field of human resources and behavioral analysis. When not working, Miss Scott enjoys scuba diving, international travel, cooking, and college and professional football.

Christopher Turner
Christopher Turner is a highly experienced litigation attorney practicing in the areas of contract disputes, complex civil litigation, personal injury, business litigation, insurance litigation, civil appeals, and construction law. Mr. Turner received his undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida with a degree in Political Science. He then went on to pursue a law degree from Florida A & M University graduating with honors in 2007. Mr. Turner was admitted to the Florida Bar later that year and admitted to the Florida Middle District Federal Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in 2008.

Mr. Turner is a proud member of the American Bar Association, American Justice Association, Florida Justice Association and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association. His successful cases have recovered several million dollars for his clients over the years. Mr. Turner is happy to serve clients in the Orlando and surrounding central Florida areas.

When he isn’t working Mr. Turner enjoys mountaineering, golfing and college football. Mr. Turner recently summited Mount Rainier and is planning an expedition to summit Aconcagua in Argentina, the tallest peak in the western hemisphere.
